2013 May 30. - Trainings for Ukrainian forestry practitioners and forestry students

Beneficiary - NGO FORZA, Agency for sustainable development of the Carpathian region (Ukraine) and Partner – National Forest Centre (Slovakia) are going to organize the training for mixed group of Ukrainian forestry practitioners from State Enterprise “Dovzhanske forest and hunting management”, National Park “Zacharovanyy kray” and forestry students from Uzzhorod National University in the frame of project titled HUSKROUA 1001/028 “Foresters towards lifelong learning for better forest managementfinanced from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

The advanced trainings that will be conducted by the trainers trained in Slovakia in the framework of this project are aimed at the improvement of knowledge of forestry practitioners including chief foresters, forest rangers, forestry engineers and students - future foresters on close to nature forestry and multifunctional forest management. The training will take place on the territory of National Park “Zacharovanyy kray”. The duration of the training will be 2 days with 19 participants. The 2 days event program comprises theoretical presentations, group discussions and practical lessons in the forest.

Beneficiary - NGO FORZA, Agency for sustainable development of the Carpathian region (Ukraine) and Partner – National Forest Centre (Slovakia) are going to organize the training (session two) for Ukrainian trainers in the frame of project HUSKROUA/1001/028 “Foresters towards lifelong learning for better forest management” financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

Date: April 17 - 19, 2013
Venue: Košice (Pension Grand), Slovakia

The training is aimed at the improvement of technical and trainings skills and knowledge of Ukrainian trainers of silvicultural disciplines on close to nature forestry and multifunctional forest management by the qualified Slovak trainer.
The second session of the training will take place in Košice. The duration of the session will be 3 days, with 14 participants/trainers from Ukraine.
The event program includes:
• theoretical presentations on close to nature forestry and multifunctional forest management
• group discussions
• practical training on the sample plot in the forest (Smolnícka Osada)

Topics to be discussed and presented: Know-how in the sphere of bioenergetics will be presented and exchanged. Stakeholders’ experience exchange in regard of alternative energy development in European countries and Ukraine will take place. Participants will also be informed on possibilities and examples of alternative energy and particularly biomass energy usage on target territories of the project (Košice self-governing region and Zakarpatska oblast).

International Exhibition “Alternative Energetics and Energy Saving” – is a possibility to meet with potential business-partners, expand business relationships, of scientific and commercial discussions, thematic workshops and presentations that gives incentive to achievement of posed goals as well as new knowledge, ideas and possibilities of their implementation.

Final Conference will summarize implementation of the project and project results will be presented to wide audience and stakeholders. Besides possibilities of continuation of activities within the present direction after finalization of the project as well as possibilities of project pilot activities duplication in other institutions (schools and municipalities and other objects of social and private sphere) and regions will be discussed.

2012 November 28. - Opening Conference of Project “Sustainable Management of Natural Resources in Interfluves of Tisza - Tur rivers”

Tisza River Basin Water Resources Directorate is going to organise an Opening Conference in the frame of project HUSKROUA/0901/040 “Sustainable Management of Natural Resources in Interfluves of Tisza - Tur rivers” financed by the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

The main goal of the Project is to support joint sustainable management of natural resources in interfluves of Tisza and Tur rivers by means of designing and constructional works on the reconstruction of the joint Ukrainian-Hungarian-Romanian Batar amelioration system and implementation of environmental measures that promote cross-border cooperation among Tisza river basin countries.

2012 November 15. - Workshop no.1 in the frame of project titled "Artistic Traditions. Pattern for Non Formal Learning in Romania and Ukraine"

Children’s Palace Satu Mare in partnership with Super Kids Association Satu Mare, League for Europa Satu Mare, School of Arts Solotvino and City Hall Solotvino is going to organise the workshop no.1 in the frame of  project titled “Artistic Traditions. Pattern for Non Formal Learning in Romania and Ukraine. ” financed from the HU-SK-RO-UA ENPI CBC Programme.

The event will take place in Solotvino city, Ukraine, between 15/11/2012 – 17/11/2012.

The event will last 2 days and will be held at the Children’s School of Arts Solotvino.
At the event will be participating 20 teachers, 10 Romanian teachers and 10 Ukrainians teachers.
In a first phase the Romanian side will be presented the activities specific to the partner institution in Ukraine.
The second part of the meeting will consist of interactive discussions on the following three themes:
1. “Competences and profile of  arts teacher "
2. "Artistic training in Romanian and Ukrainian institutions;  common coordinates, interferences, particularities “
3. "Procedures for tracing gifted children."

Teachers will be divided into three groups depending on the profile (dance, instrumental music, visual art). The group task will consist in identifying traditional cultural interference in the two communities. The activity will finalize with the Teacher’s portfolio which will contain information and knowledge acquired during.

2012 October 24. - Project event – Training for Ukrainian trainers (session one)

Beneficiary - NGO FORZA, Agency for sustainable development of the Carpathian region (Ukraine) and Partner – National Forest Centre (Slovakia) are going to organize the training for Ukrainian trainers in the frame of project 1001/028 “Foresters towards lifelong learning for better forest management” financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

The training is aimed at the improvement of technical and trainings skills and knowledge of Ukrainian trainers of silvicultural disciplines on close to nature forestry and multifunctional forest management by the qualified Slovak trainers via knowledge transfer and practical exercises in the forest.
The first 3 days duration session of the training will take place in Prešov.

2012 October 22. - Project event – Experts training and camp

Beneficiary Cornflower Foundation (Búzavirág Alapítvány) is going to organise a training and camp in the frame of project titled “Handing over methods for visually impaired persons’ rehabilitation, materialized already in the region of Northern Hungary, to the partners from abroad” financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

The event takes place in Miskolc between 22-29 October 2012.

Between 22nd-24th of October the experts from the Romanian and Ukrainian Partners (10 experts from each partner) shall participate to a three-days long preparatory training in Hungary, where the participating experts working with visually impaired persons shall get to know each other, share their experience in the field, coordinate the organizing activities, determine tasks, responsibilities and review the documentation of the visually impaired participants. The experts shall be trained in order to continue by themselves the started rehabilitation work after the finalization of the camp.

Right after the preparatory training a 5 days camp for visually impaired persons shall be organized in the same place, between 24-29th of October.
The goal of the second camp is to develop a greater independence of visually impaired persons in attending their personal needs and for solving the household tasks. During the camp special and individual techniques shall be trained, selecting applicable aid-instruments and teaching their safe use.
The participants of the camp shall be, along with the trainers, 7 visually impaired persons from each partner, a total of 21.

2012 October 12. - Project event – “Workshop on health education in schools”

Asociatia Clubul Rotary Satu Mare is going to organise a WORKSHOP on health education in schools in the frame of project titled “Strategic CONNECTIONS for wise community ACTIONS” financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

The workshop on health education will gather experts from Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine, most of them being locally recognized physicians, willing to offer their expertise for the benefit of the community. The role of the event is to facilitates exchange of know how among experts on the importance of health education in school and best measures to realize that purpose.
15 participants are expected to attend the workshop.
The program is divided on 3 days, with presentations, small group discussions, experience exchange sessions and open sessions for free discussions between the participants.

2012 October 01. - Deadline of COMPETITION FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE RURAL TOURISM SCHOOL

Association of Economic Development of Ivano-Frankivsk in the partnership with the Department of External Economic Relations and Tourism of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration of Ukraine, Development Centre for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Maramures and Carpathian Foundation – Ukraine is going to organise the competition for participation in the Rural Tourism School in the frame of the project titled “Harmonization of Tourism Development in Rural Areas of the Carpathian Region” financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

Association of Students-Economists of Zakarpattya, Uzhgorod, Ukraine (Beneficiary) together with its project partners is going to organize project event - International Tourist Competitions in the frame of project titled “Extreme sports for better life”, ref. 2012 September 21. - European Cooperation Day

 

      

European Cooperation Day will happen throughout Europe on and around 21 September 2012. It celebrates the improvements in the quality of life and living conditions brought about by Territorial Cooperation and Cross-border Cooperation to the populations of Europe and Europe’s neighbouring regions and countries.

  • Positive experience of Baia Mare in the solid waste management, which are used or intended to be used in Ivano-Frankivsk;
  •  The mechanism of maintenance of the private sector in waste management in Ivano-Frankivsk and Baia Mare. Opposition to the emergence of unauthorized dumps.

As a result of this measure joint achievement to further improving of solid waste treatment will be developed and covered in the media; the program of study visits will be formed. Conclusions obtained during the meeting will be published on the pages of the bulletin "Clean Environment" and will be used to develop action and business plans.

It is planned that the event will be attended by 20 people.

Children’s Palace Satu Mare in partnership whith Super Kids Association Satu Mare, League for Europa Satu Mare, School of Arts Solotvino and City Hall Solotvino is going to organise the project launching in the frame of  project titled “Artistic Traditions. Pattern for Non Formal Learning in Romania and Ukraine. ” financed from the HU-SK-RO-UA ENPI CBC Programme.

2012 August 20. - Training of volunteers

Volunteers from Transcarpathia in Ukraine and from Hungary are involved in trainings. The organizers had chosen 16 young people from local voluntary groups. 2012 August 13. - Project event – Experts training and camp

Beneficiary Cornflower Foundation (Búzavirág Alapítvány) is going to organise a training and camp in the frame of project titled “Handing over methods for visually impaired persons’ rehabilitation, materialized already in the region of Northern Hungary, to the partners from abroad” financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

The event takes place at Sárospatak between 13-20 August 2012.

Between 13-15th of August the experts from the Romanian and Ukrainian Partners (10 experts from each partner) shall participate to a three-days long preparatory training in Hungary, where the participating experts working with visually impaired persons shall get to know each other, share their experience in the field, will be thought the techniques that are going to be implemented in the coming camp, coordinate the organizing activities, determine tasks, responsibilities and review the documentation of the visually impaired participants, prepare individual rehabilitation plans.

Right after the preparatory training a 5 days camp for visually impaired persons shall be organized in the same place, between 15-20th of August.

The main topic of the first camp shall be crisis intervention and aftercare. The goal of the camp is to increase self-evaluation and freedom and consciousness of the ego. During the camp “story as therapy” and relaxation techniques shall be used, and further our techniques that are going to be adapted to the needs of the participating group of visually impaired persons (7 persons from each partner, a total of 21).

The event is not open for the public.

Maramures mountains nature park is going to organise Strategic Planning Committee meeting in Romania in the frame of project titled “Breaking the borders: nature discovery trails to Eastern Carpathians” (HUSKROUA/1001/067) financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

2012 July 30. - Project event – Starting Camp for pupils

The Beneficiary, Fundatia Hans Lindner, is going to organise the Starting Camp for pupils in the frame of project titled “Entrepreneurial Culture Jointly Operated by the Youth of the RO-UA cross-border region ECJOY" (with project ID: HUSKROUA/1001/100) financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

Exact date : 30 July - 01 August 2012 and venue: Nyiregyhaza, Hungary

The programs during the camp will be prepared and carried out together by the two partners. (Fundatia Hans Lindner and The Zakarpatska Professional Women-Educators’ Association “Perspektyva”)

During the 3 days long (2 nights) starting camp the Ukrainian and Romanian teams will meet each other, they will form mixed teams, find out the project ideas, establish the way how they work together. They will fill in sheets with information regarding these aspects. The camp will be coordinated by 3 RO and 2 UA experts.  Will be organized entertainment programs, competition, team building, conflict management issues. The 20 Romanian and Ukrainian involved teachers will also participate at this camp.

2012 July 23. - Project event –ENVIRONMENTAL CAMP

Former State-fostered Children’s Association is going to organise an environmental camp in the frame of project titled “State fostered Children for the Environment conscious Future” financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

Date and venue: 23.07-27.07.2012 Vinohradiv, Ukraine

Purpose: The environmental camps provide a perfect opportunity to overcome the disadvantages and vest the participants with self-knowledge, self-confidence, creativeness, erudition, open-mindedness and environmental consciousness. The fairy tales help the children get closer to the natural world.

2012 April 05. - Deadline to submit applications to Call for Assessors

The Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENPI CBC Programme launched the Call for Assessors to identify and select qualified and experienced professionals to join the Programme’s Pool of Assessors on 14 March 2012.

Applications shoud be submitted by 5 April 2012.

2012 March 23. - Project Management Training for awarded projects under the 2nd Call

The JMA and JTS in cooperation with Regional Capacity Building Initiative (RCBI) organise a Project Management Training for the Beneficiaries and Partners of the projects awarded under the 2nd Call for Proposals on 22 and 23 March 2012 in Ukraine.

The objective of the training is to develop a better understanding of what is needed to implement ENPI CBC projects, in particular how to prepare and submit project reports, including brief introduction to verification of expenditures according to the HU-SK-RO-UA ENPI CBC Programme requirements and rules.

The Joint Technical Secretariat organized the 2nd meeting of the Project Selection Committees (PSCs) in the frame of the 2nd Call for Proposals of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENPI CBC Programme 2007-2013 on 06 and 07 July 2011 in Budapest.

2011 July 01. - Annual event 2011

Joint annual conference “Time for championships of cross-border cooperation in Eastern Europe” of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine and Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2007-2013 ENPI Cross-border Cooperation Programmes took place on 30 June-1 July in Mukachevo.

The plenary session of the annual conference took place on the first day, and the second day was devoted to a spectacular popularisation of the two programmes and the cross-border cooperation in general by climbing to the Kremenec mountain (1221 m), which lies on the triple border of Slovakia, Poland and Ukraine. The date of the event was also significant as it took place on the last day of the Hungarian and the first day of the Polish EU presidency. Accordingly, Consul General of Hungary in Uzhgorod, symbolically passed over the EU flag to Consul General of Poland in Lviv, on the top of the triple border.

During the 2 days long festival, 3 seminars will be held with themes regarding culture, youth and the civil society. 2011 May 17. - Project event - Study Tour “European Practices in Setting Up Business Incubators and Providing Services”

May 17–21, 2011

In the framework of the project titled “Increasing entrepreneurial potential in the cross-border region by setting up enterprise support institutions” financed from the HU-SK-RO-UA ENPI CBC Programme the delegation from Ukraine will be hosted by the Regional Advisory Information Centre in Presov (RAIC Presov), which is successfully running its Technology Business Incubator. This study tour is organized by the Regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund in Ivano-Frankivsk region (the Beneficiary of the project).

The delegation will have 15 participants including project staff, scientists, experts, representatives of business support institutions and government.

The purpose of the study tour is to train the project team, experts and associated partners of the project in the principles of business incubators in EU and Slovakia, including RAIC Presov, Kosice Scientific and Technical Incubator, and Spisska Nova Ves Business Incubator.

2011 May 04. - Follow-up Project Management Training for awarded projects

The JMA and JTS in cooperation with Regional Capacity Building Initiative (RCBI) organise a follow-up Project Management Training for the Beneficiaries and Partners of the projects awarded under the 1st Call for Proposals on 3 and 4 May 2011 in Ukraine. The objective of the training is to develop a better understanding of what is needed to implement ENPI CBC projects, in particular how to prepare and submit project reports, including brief introduction to verification of expenditures according to the HU-SK-RO-UA ENPI CBC Programme requirements and rules.

Transcarpathian „Ukrainian-Hungarian Regional Development Centre” is organizing an experience exchange workshop in the frame of project entitled "Cross-border Destination Management in the Transcarpathian – Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg Country region".

Representatives of local tourist services providers, NGOs, self-governments and regional authorities are invited to take part in the workshop.

The event includes the following topics for discussion:

1. Infrastructural development and informational support of the local tourist products in Zakarpattya
2. Improvement of tourist services, increasing their quality level
3. Introducing tourist tax. Involving of EU member-states experience

2010 April 20. - Joint Monitoring Committee meeting to make final decision on project proposals submitted within the 1st Call for Proposals

2010 March 24. - Second meeting of Project Selection Committees within the first Call for Proposals

The quality assessment of the project applications submitted within the first Call for Proposals was performed by selected external assessors during February 2010.

Project Selection Committees (for Priority 1, 2 and 4) meet for the second time to review the conclusions of the assessors and make their recommendations to the Joint Monitoring Committee on project proposals to be selected on 23 and 24 March 2010 in Budapest. The PSCs take their decisions independently from each other.

At the end of the whole evaluation process, JMC will be convened for definitive approval of the selected proposals and of the maximum amounts awarded to the projects. This final decision making JMC meeting is planned to be organized in second half of April 2010.

Information about the result of the selection process will be delivered to the Applicants only after the JMC meeting.

2010 February 02. - First meeting of Project Selection Committees within the first Call for Proposals

The Joint Technical Secretariat organized the 1st meeting of the Project Selection Committees of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENPI CBC Programme 2007-2013 on the 2nd of February, 2010 in Budapest.

Three separate Project Selection Committees (PSCs) for each Priority has been set up according to the decision of the Joint Monitoring Committee in order to examine and evaluate the project proposals.

The opening session, administrative check as well as the verification of eligibility (Step 1) for the project proposals submitted within the 1st Call for Proposals (deadline was 22 September 2009) has been carried out by the Secretary of the PSCs with the support of the JTS staff. Based on the work performed by the JTS, Committees draw up their recommendations to the Joint Managing Authority (JMA) and the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) through an Evaluation Report for each Priority containing the result of the administrative and eligibility checks. The PSCs take their decisions independently from each other.

Evaluation Reports has to be submitted to the JMA and JMC for endorsement. Upon approval of the PSC's recommendation by the JMA and JMC, as closing of the process Step 1, each Applicant will receive an official letter including the followings:

A statement informing the Applicants whether or not their application was submitted within the deadline, indicating the reference number they have been allocated, whether their application has satisfied all the administrative and eligibility criteria and whether their application has been recommended for further evaluation ( so-called quality assessment). If excluded from further evaluation, the reasons for rejection will be provided.

Next steps: The quality assessment of the project applications (Step 2) will be performed by selected external assessors. PSCs will meet for the second time to review the conclusions of the assessors and make their recommendations to the JMC expectedly in March 2010. At the end of the whole evaluation process, JMC will be convened for definitive approval of the selected proposals and of the maximum amounts awarded to the projects. This final decision making JMC meeting is planned to be organized in the middle of April 2010.

2009 September 22. - DEADLINE for submission of Applications

Dear Applicants, Partners,

Let us remind you that the submission deadline of Applications within the first Call for proposals is 22 September 2009 !!

The date of submission of Applications should be evidenced by the date of dispatch, the postmark or the date of the deposit slip. In case of hand-deliveries, the deadline for receipt is at 14:00 local time as evidenced by the signed and dated receipt.

Applications must be submitted in one package in a sealed envelope by registered mail, private courier service or by hand-delivery (a signed and dated certificate of receipt will be given to the deliverer) at the address below:

The outer envelope must bear the reference number and the title of the Call for proposals (HUSKROUA/0901, Hungary Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENPI Cross-border Cooperation Programme), together with the full name and address of the Applicant, and the words "Not to be opened before the opening session".

2009 August 28. - Follow Up Information Sessions to be organized by RCBI

RCBI will conduct Follow Up Information Workshops for potential eligible applicants or partners who are in the process of preparing project applications for Calls for Proposals under the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENPI CBC Programme.

27 August 2009, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine 

28 August 2009, Uzhgorod, Ukraine

The aim of the workshops is to provide the opportunity to receive further information and clarification on issues related to the Call. Each workshop will be a semi-structured question-and-answer session on a pre-selected list of topics. The topics will include: 
Eligibility (of partners, actions, regions, costs)
Partnerships
Application procedures and forms
Budget -financial issues
Selection of Projects
Other

2009 August 25. - Infoday in Romania

After launching first Call for proposals, the Joint Managing Authority, the National Authority of Romania in cooperation with the Joint Technical Secretariat is going to organize information day in Satu Mare county. Please keep in mind that the events are aimed at potential eligible applicants and partners from eligible area in Romania (Satu Mare, Maramures and Suceava counties), therefore the language of the programme will be Romanian.

The aim of the events is to provide you with detailed information on the application package. How to fill in the application form, the budget and forming viable cross-border partnerships will be among the topics to be presented during the events.

No registration is needed for attending the infodays.

2009 June 30. - Project preparation workshops were held in Ukraine

In the frame of the first call for proposals of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENPI Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013 project preparation workshops were organized by the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme together with the project “Regional Capacity Building Initiative” (RCBI). The seminars took place in Ukraine – on the 30th of June, 2009 in Uzhgorod and on the 1st of July, 2009 in Ivano – Frankivsk.

The main goal of the mentioned events was to provide the potential applicants with the detailed information concerning the rules of the call and the preparation of the Application package.

During the seminars the attention of the participants was drawn to such topics as the project idea generation, partnership and the role of the main partner in the project, preparation of the action plan and budget.

Additionally it was held the training for the participants devoted to the filling up of the Logical frame and identification of the future projects indicators.
