The project aims at expanding the range of scientific interest in art history, calendar rituals, folk customs and traditions in the revival of ethnographic research to issues of spirituality included in the Carpathian region (Ukraine, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland) |

Strengthening cultural ties in the Carpathian region. Analysis and development of general ecclesiastic values to support ethnic groups in Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Ukraine. |
Description: |
The ecclesiastical world of the Carpathian region was always in sight ethnographic science that was presented comprehensive sources and historiographic base that includes various collections of folk records, memoirs, newspapers, works of art, scientific articles and monographs. They analyzed the traditional art, calendar and family rites, folk art, life, etc..
However, questions still remain, which are promising for further research. Among them the problem is to allocate these topics of countries, remains especially valuable analysis of their identification. Despite numerous scientific papers, which were issued with a mid-XIX century, the discussion to date is, for example, Houtsul’s ethnic origin, more precise localization of residence, learning the rituals initiations of youth, some auxiliary industries and certain areas of science, art. |
