Project targets: |
The public safety and emergency preparedness infrastructure from the North-West Region, fire or other natural disasters it is not proper and adequate in order to prevent and mitigate the impact of major incidents.
The quality of the professional instruments and equipments needed is satisfactory and adequate only for fire; the intervention vehicles in case of natural disasters are fitted well below actual needs.
The project aims, through measures and actions proposed, to contribute effectively and seriously to the developing and improving public safety and emergency system of the Region.
Outputs:
Equipments to be fitted with the Civil Protection Public Service - Peacetime Command Point City .
Brochures containing studies and information about the procedures and prevention measures in order to be provided to the target groups and to the beneficiaries.

Results (long term):
strengthening institutional capacity of Civil Protection Public Public - Command Point City;
reducing response time in case of emergencies;
minimizing the effects of cases of emergency (flooding, landslides, heat) and other disasters, whether natural or man.

Description: |
The project aims to improve the quality of public emergency services in the region NW –
Baia Mare, increasing ability to adequately respond to emergency situations, increasing awareness and therefore the safety and integrity of citizens, property and assets.
The main project activities planned are as it follows:
Meetings and best practices exchange between the partners and the specialists involved in the project (commune activity);
Acquisition of equipments in order to create and arrange a Peacetime Command Point City (separate activity);
Publicity and promotion activity: a brochure containing studies and vital information about the procedures and prevention measures in order to be provided to the target groups and to the beneficiaries will be published. (separate activity).
