These waters are found in all the countries concerned: Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Ukraine, and their use can lead to the increase of local, regional, and national tourism in each of these countries as well as to development at European level.
This development allows the creation of new jobs, regional growth through the use of clean forms, and the decrease of population morbidity and mortality rates. The development of medical tourism in the Euro-Carpathian Region can be related to the other forms of tourism which have boosted due to the potential of the region.
