Project targets: |
The project aims are to create a network of friendly organizations from among both public and government organizations to care for all roma population in Ivano-Frankivsk’s oblast and protect their human Rights.
Roma population will have access to dozens of services, including law, social, medical, legal, psychological services, which can be obtained for free according to the above mentioned actyvities in Ivano-Frankivsk’s oblast.

Project results: |
Ivano-Frankivsk’s oblast will become open for Roma population and will take care in their human Rights protection.
The start of overcoming xenophobia in Ivano-Frankivsk’s oblast will be put.
Fondraysing to help Roma population and their children will be started.
Roma population and their children will be able to receive social services in Ivano-Frankivsk’s oblast as well as legal and social and cash assistance, free medical treatment and education.
Advocating the rights of Roma population and their children will be started as well as influencing the local power authorities to ensure the temporary social housing and support of Roma population and their families and helping them to obtain the Ukrainian citizenship.

Description: |
The power authorities of Ivano-Frankivsk’s oblast and the society are not ready to meet roma immigrants and protect their human Rights, especially morally and psychologically. In this area during the last municipal elections, a radical nationalist party \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Freedom\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" came to power. It declares openly nationalistic approach to the society problems. However, Ivano-Frankivsk’s oblast have considerable resources and capabilities for the reception of refugees, especially roma children. |
