Project targets: |
Increased awareness, knowledge and skills towards the development of local and regional strategies, to prevent and mitigate the impact of global climate change and facilitate adaptation to the local impact of these changes, in the form of joint workshops and training.
Creating a specific and permanent communication channel between local and farmers;
Harmonize the activities of disaster prevention;
Establishment of early warning systems on fires, avalanches, heavy rains, hail, floods and other natural disasters;
Strategic planning, technical and establishing common systems for monitoring climate change;
Increased awareness, knowledge and skills towards the development of local and regional strategies, to prevent and mitigate the impact of global climate change and facilitate adaptation to the local impact of these changes, in the form of joint workshops and training.

- Development of warning system (development of applications, installing weather stations);
- Making a platform for continuous communication between beneficiaries, Department of Agriculture and the General Inspectorate for Emergency;
-Permanent informing for 400 farmers about the climate changes in the monitored region |
Description: |
We want to create an application that will be announced (both local authorities and a number of people - via sms) to climate change that will occur in a certain period of time. In case of freezing, the hot weather, storm or flood, application can notify local authorities in a short time that will occur in the area that phenomenon.
Through the application will be able to keep a permanent connection with municipalities and farmers in the region monitored.
In addition to weather warnings, Department of Agriculture will be able to send text messages with informations about weather in a certain period of time..
Other activities that may be included in the project:
• Informations about the right time for growing plants or seeding land
• Activities through which farmers are informed about the methods of intervention in case of disasters.
