Useful informationRules on Nationality and Origin to be applied on purchasing supplies or materials During project implementation Beneficiaries and Partners shall purchase all supplies and materials from the eligible countries and present for the auditor/national controller a certificate of origin for equipments and vehicles of a unit cost on purchase of more than € 5 000. The JMA and JTS have summarized the main rules on the issue in form of an \'info sheet\' which highlights also the special national rules of all four participating countries. Information sheet on Rules of Origin The Contracting Authority (JMA) grants exceptions from the rules on nationality and origin in exceptional and duly substantiated circumstances. The possible way of obtaining the derogation from the rules on nationality and origin is summarized in form of an \'explanatory note\': Explanatory note on the exclusion from the rule of origin IMPORTANT NOTE! The Contracting Authority (JMA) has delegated its right of granting exceptions from the rules on nationality and origin to the Joint Technical Secretariat. Therefore, the JTS will process all submitted requests for derogation and decide on a case-by-case basis to award derogation or not from 4 June 2012.
